Hi I’m แทIOแIแแทEแฉแแK, a fifty-year-old gay man, product manager, technology enthusiast, science fiction fan, and proud leather bear. After losing my partner, living through significant trauma, and facing depression, anxiety, and hidden disability, Iโve found myself on a journey of healing and rediscovery. The โแทIOแIแโ comes from my two artificial hips, but itโs also become a reminder that weโre all capable of rebuilding.
This blog is my safe space.
Much of what I write is deeply personal and reflects how I experienced a moment, not an attempt to define someone elseโs intentions or tell the whole story. If my experiences help someone else feel a little less aloneโor simply encourage a moment of reflectionโthen sharing them has been worthwhile.
Sometimes people may recognise themselves, or believe a post is about them. If you do, I simply ask that you read it with kindness and keep it to yourself. These posts are not written to blame, shame or hurt anyone. They are part of my own healing, helping me understand my thoughts and feelings in a way that words spoken aloud often cannot.
Thank you for giving me the space to do that.
